EMPLOYERS® Chief Information Officer Richard Hallman Named Technologist of the Year by Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology
The NCET Awards recognize individuals and companies who have greatly enhanced the growth and prestige of Northern Nevada’s technology community. The Technologist of the Year honor rewards an exceptional individual who has demonstrated innovative and effective use of technology in support of the strategic initiatives of his or her organization.
“I’m honored to be named NCET’s 2015 Technologist of the Year and to be part of a company that has been recognized by NCET for the third year in a row for its technological advancements,” said Hallman.
Hallman has been with EMPLOYERS for the past decade and has managed the organization’s overall IT infrastructure, security and application development teams. He also led the development of various online services, including EACCESS®, a web-based insurance quoting and automated underwriting system for small business insurance agents.
