With 17 years of financial management and strategic consulting experience, Giannini previously served as the director of strategy at EMPLOYERS. In her new role, Giannini will lead the recently combined Strategy and Corporate Financial Analysis group and continue to play a key role in acquisitions, investments and strategic partnerships.

Prior to joining EMPLOYERS, Giannini was responsible for supporting strategic initiatives and governance activities for the board of directors of Shuffle Master, Inc., a publicly-traded gaming supply company. Giannini also previously served as president and owner of Giannini & Company, a mergers and acquisitions consulting firm working with domestic and international clients in a variety of industries including retail, gaming, consumer products and financial services.

Giannini received her M.A. in Economics from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, her B.A. in Economics from Youngstown State University in Ohio, and also studied at the University of Granada, Spain. She taught Statistics and Economics classes as an adjunct professor at UNLV for several years.
