Employers Occupational Health, Inc. Earns Full URAC Accreditation for Case Management
HENDERSON, Nev., Jul 18, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Employers Occupational Health, Inc., a subsidiary of Employers Holdings, Inc., (NYSE: EIG), has been granted URAC's full accreditation for case management. URAC is a Washington, D.C.-based health care accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the health care industry.
Case management services are one of the fastest growing areas in health care and are used in a variety of health care settings. Case management allows health care organizations to better serve patients' needs in a more dynamic way by coordinating care across the continuum of health care settings. URAC's Case Management Standards cover both health and workers' compensation services. URAC is the only accreditation organization offering standards that specifically address the rapidly evolving field of case management.
